In this study, heat and mass transfer mechanisms are experimentally determined in the area which is between serpentines and sprays of an evaporative cooler. For the area which is the subject of our study, experimental system has been designed in a way that air and water makes opposite flow. The aim of this study is to obtain volumetric heat and mass transfer coefficients being examined in the area, with the support of experimental measurements and mathematical model. Experimental results have been solved via a computer program by using Runge Kutta and iteration method. The results obtained from the experiments have been given as graphically and empirical statements. In these statements changing air velocity, water flow rate and height of study area were taken variable parameters.
