Abstract

Two water mite species (Acari, Hydrachnidia) are reported from Turkey. Limnolegeria longiseta Motaş, 1928 and males of Sperchon rostratus Lundblad, 1969 are first records for the Turkish fauna. The morphological features and worldwide distribution of the species are given. © Tübitak.
