Özet
Professional organization plays an important role in development and democratization, with the aims of protecting the rights of professional members, contributing to the development of the profession and promoting their profession. The importance of professional organization and the organization requirements evaluated in terms of the profession of forest engineering. In this context, the opinions of 183 forest engineers were collected with questionnaire technique. Data obtained by the questionnaire were analyzed by statistical package program (SPSS 20). Since data were not normally distributed, non-parametric tests were evaluated using the K Independent Samples Test (Mann-Whitney U test) and K Independent Samples Test (Kruskal Wallis Test). As a result, It was found that professional owners can make themselves able to improve themselves through the professional organization and professional organization activities are important factors.
