In this study, the seismic performance of the Registered Masonry Building located in Isparta province was investigated. Within the scope of the study, first, the properties of the building material of the structure were determined by experimental studies according to Turkish Standards, and then the structure was modeled according to the finite element method in the SAP2000 program. For the analysis of the modeled structure, 30 different earthquake acceleration records suitable for the location of the structure were obtained from the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) website and these records were applied to the structure. Because of the analysis, the displacement and stress values were determined. The obtained results were examined comparatively under the considerations of the Turkish Building Earthquake Code (2018) and the Guidelines for the Seismic Risk Management of Historic Structures. The investigation revealed that the structure needs to be strengthened. Therefore, the effects of strengthening were investigated by applying CFRP to weak areas to strengthen the structure. As a result of the study, the stress values were compared before and after strengthening. It was determined that the stresses could be reduced by approximately 22% by strengthening.
