Abstract

Two rare species of the genera Chamaemyces and Hodophilus, Chamaemyces fracidus and Hodophilus tenuicystidiatus, are described as new records from Aegean part of Turkey. The phylogenetic placement of C. fracidus and H. tenuicystidiatus are investigated based on multi-gene molecular analyses containing nrITS and nrLSU data sets. Results indicate that collections for the two species formed separate lineages in the Chamaemyces and Hodophilus clades respectively. Detailed description of the morphological characters, line drawings of micromorphological features, color photographs, ecological preferences are provided and species delimitation are supported with phylogenetic analyses.
