Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between mobile information technologies, big data features, organizational readiness for innovation, decision-making capabilities, and service innovation performance in the hospitality industry. A quantitative research method was adopted, and the multivariate statistical analysis technique of structural equation modeling was used to test the conceptual model in this study. The data were collected from participants at the management levels of five-star hotels belonging to international and national hotel chains in Türkiye. The results indicated that mobile information technologies influence both service innovation performance and big data features. Big data features have a mediating role and organizational readiness for innovation and decision-making capabilities have moderating roles in this relationship.
