Abstract

The region of Isparta is one of the most important sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) production areas in Turkey. The current status of sweet cherry production in Isparta, including planting density, pruning and training methods, cultivar, rootstocks, export, problems of sweet cherry production and future prospects, are discussed.
