Abstract

In this study, relationship between dynamic penetration values and seismic cross-hole values is investigated. The research pits were opened at a depth of 4m in place performed of the dynamic penetration test. In this pit were applied seismic cross-hole studies. Compressional and shear wave velocities were determined from seismic crosshole studies. The relationships between N value of the dynamic penetration and these velocities were obtained in sandy soils. Consequently, the result of this study showed that the correlation coefficient between them is over 80%.
