In order to meet the increasing needs of the industry, the interest in 3 dimensional measurement techniques and the investments of the sectors in this field are increasing. Thanks to rapid developments in computer technology, highly sophisticated 3 dimensional scanners have been developed that can scan the human body in a short time, in high resolution, and transfer it to a computer. With the 3D scanning systems, the garment industry shortens the pre-production processes of garments and minimizes the possibility of errors in garment patterns. Especially in recent years, the clothing has been shown on the model by wearing the clothes which are expressed in the form of virtual clothing symbol on 3 dimensional models and models. In addition, the production of 2 dimensional production patterns can be realized with the help of 3 dimensional clothing model. The development of 3 dimensional body scanners has led to the development of software and simulation systems that use this data in the garment industry.
