Abstract

A new species of Acherontacarus (Acari, Hydrachnidia), Acherontacarus anatolicus n.sp., is described from a small stream in Isparta province (southern Turkey). This is the first record of the genus from Turkey; distributional data of the known species are discussed. © TÜBİTAK.
