In this study, luminous intensity values of real armatures are measured by computer controlled goniophotometer which is designed are mathematically modeled by using computer programme and the mathematical functions obtained are transfered into 3 dimensional luminous intensity distribution and visualised. Therefore, the models of real armatures and luminous intensity datas are obtained for using in ligthing design and computer simulation programs. User can be reach the curve and luminous intensity distribution of the armature designed by entering the ligth intensity datas abd C coefficients, depending on the position of the luminaire. In addition to realistic ligthing design and developing an easy method of luminaire definition to use in especially ligthing education, the possibility of developing various luminaires by using the equations and table datas obtained is also enabled.
