Infection of Dreissena polymorpha (Pallas, 1771) with Bucephalus polymorphus (Baer 1827) in Eğirdir Lake

Özet
Bucephalus polymorphus found as an adult in the intestine, pyloric caeca and stomach of Stizostedion lucioperca in Eğirdir Lake, Turkey, is described and figured. The first intermediate host was identified as Dreissena polymorpha. Information on the prevalence of the parasite in S. lucioperca and its influence on the growth and condition of this fish in the lake in 1994-95 is also given.
