Abstract

Estimation of evaporation is a significant part of water resources planning studies. Since too many parameters are needed to estimate evaporation by empirical formulas, the use of artificial intelligence methods has become widespread in the last decade. In this study, an integrated evaporation model is developed by using deep neural network (DNN) method for the Lakes of Kovada, Eoirdir and Karacaoren Dam in the Lakes Region of Turkey. It is found out that the developed DNN model is successful at the estimation of daily pan evaporation.
