Özet

ANN models are developed to estimate daily pan evaporation from measured meteorological data using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method proposed as an alternative approach of evaporation estimation for Lake Eǧirdir. Meteorological data used to develop the models of daily pan evaporation include daily observations of air and water temperature, solar radiation, air pressure, relative humidity and wind speed from 2001 to 2002 years. ANN models are used to estimate daily pan evaporation. Daily pan evaporation is also estimated by using Penman method that is the basis of evaporation methods. The results of ANN model and Penman method are compared to pan evaporation values and the comparison shows that there is better agreement between the ANN estimations and measurements of daily pan evaporation.
